Santa Clara University’s red and Trade Gothic font can feel a bit stagnant, especially when it comes to special, student focused events.

I added a playful feel for our digital commencement package, illustrating a few custom icons and incorporating custom confetti patterns.

Collaborating in Canva

Canva is endlessly useful for collaborating with campus partners and social media team. I can create a branded template, then our clients customize it without needing to come back for small edits.

Below are examples of design templates I made from scratch in Canva for our commencement social media kit, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook posts, as well as Zoom backgrounds, slides, and more.

I enjoyed iterating on the logo, patterns, and overall palette and allowing it to grow with our clients’ needs.
